Hello, my dear Fitness Family!

I hope this finds ya’ll well, happy, and feeling loved!  Whether you have a romantic sweetheart or are fabulously single, be sure to do nice things for yourself and those you love!  Hearts to all ya’ll!

I also want to wish you a Happy New Year!  I always love new beginnings!  We are now in the Year of the Tiger.  The picture above is a tiger swallowtail butterfly, which is one of my tattoos.  To me, it represents a mix of fierceness/strength and beauty/grace.  May this year be one that allows all of us to find a balance of the two.

If you want guidance in pumping up your tiger element of strength, remember that IOF is offering a special for the month of February!  Get a body analysis, 2 personal training sessions, and 10 visits for a discounted rate!  Be sure to benefit from this special by emailing me asap!

And, remember, in the spirit of balance, to also be doing some body love-maintenance.  Here are some ideas:

* Bath time!  Add some epsom salt to help with sore muscles.  Add bubbles or essential oil for fun!

* Book a massage!  I have a standing appointment with Jaime Noriega at Piedmont Springs.  If you are local, check him out and tell him that I sent ya!

* Get your 8 hours of sleep a night!  Rest does wonders for the body and the brain!

* Drink enough fluids.  8 cups a day, friends!  Makes a big difference for energy levels and health!

* Be sure to take 1-2 days off from exercising to allow your body to rest and heal.  This is especially important for those of us that exercise a lot.
