Making Commitments

Work out with me this week!

* Monday 5:30-7:00 pm at Inside Out. Dance / Circuit / Kickboxing. Join for 2 30-minute segments or all 3!

* Friday 5:30-6:30 pm at Inside Out.  Dance & Kickboxing Combo / Circuit.

* Saturday 10:30-11:30 am, at Hipline.  Shimmy Pop for Ladies only!  Note time change this week! Sign up on-line!

(Starting next week: Shimmy Pop on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:15 pm!)

Dearest Wonderful Peoples,

It feels like I have not seen some of you in forever.  For-evah, evah?  YUP!  I hope ya’ll are feeling amazing after a little breather!

I have to say that I am loving this ‘I am thankful’ kick, which continues on past Thanksgiving!  Having the time off has really gotten me to think about how wonderful it is to have time to be with loved ones as well as reflect and just be.  I know that once work starts up again tomorrow, it will be more challenging to maintain this reflective focus.  THUS, I am making some commitments to myself, and voicing them to ya’ll as a way to hold myself accountable.

Here are my commitments to myself:

1) 10 minutes of yoga to start my day!

2) Going for a walk and breathing if I’m feeling ‘stuck.’

3) Writing before I go to sleep to process the day.  You know, the 50 million things that come at me/us every day can be a bit much to take in sometimes!

What self-commitments to your health can you make?  A certain number of days to work out this week?  Drinking more liquids to keep your body running?  Slowing down and taking time to stretch?  What is something you know you should do and you just need to do it?  Feel free to email or talk with me or a Fitness Best Friend, if you want someone to voice it to!  Verbalize and actualize your intentions, friends!  You are worth it!
