Dear Beautiful Beings,

I enjoy making my ‘I’m thankful for…” list this time of year. I actually try to do it a lot more often than that, but THANKSgiving is a very obvious time for reflection on the subject!

SOOOOO…In no particular order, I am thankful for:

  • My amazing body that works so hard for me!
  • My cozy apartment and my big bathtub!
  • My dear friends, who are my heart and without them, I’d be way less sane!
  • Technology (most of the time, anyway)!
  • My family, who inspire me to read and find humor in life!
  • My students who make me laugh and smile daily!
  • Dancing to Marc Anthony when I am cooking in the kitchen!
  • All of my amazing students (YOU!) who continue to inspire and impress me!
  • A hot cup of tea, with the perfect amount of raw sugar and whole milk!
  • Beautiful flowers, especially deep purple orchids and light purple, fragrant roses!
  • Chocolate, quality chocolate!
  • MUSIC that inspires my body to shimmy and dance as well as remind me of my heartbeat!
  • Moments of being fully present!
  • Receiving ‘real’ mail in the mailbox, the hand-written kind!
  • The amazing clouds that are always changing and inspiring me in life with the concept of keeping the essence of me the same while allowing for change in the details!
  • Laughter, the kind where your belly hurts!

Once you start, it’s hard to stop!  What a beautiful practice to be in!

What are you thankful for? How do you show your appreciation to the people on the list? How can we be more mindful of all the positives in our lives?

Happy Thanksgiving, ya’ll!

With love, Heather
